It is a more complete solution for businesses that want to pay international hires in a smoother and more organized way.
Our recruitment fee is a one-time payment of 35% of the candidate’s first-year salary, due only after a successful hire, with a refundable $500 deposit to start the search. All hires come with a 6-month guarantee and free replacement if needed. Candidate rates vary by role and region, with back-end roles averaging $6-8/hr, mid-level $8-12/hr, and technical $10-15+/hr. We’ll give you exact recommendations and help negotiate rates, but you always make the final offer.
You are still the one responsible for paying the contractor. Thera essentially acts as the payment platform that helps you do that more smoothly. You add funds to your account, almost like funding a dedicated bank account, and then you can send payments to your hire through the platform in a much more seamless and organized way.
That depends on how quickly your account is funded first. If you add funds by wire or bank transfer, it can be as fast as the same day or take a couple of business days depending on the method. Once the funds are in your account, payments can be sent right away through the platform, and the contractor will usually receive or withdraw the funds shortly after based on their selected withdrawal method.

In other situations, they may be hired through an Employer of Record, where a local entity in their country handles payroll, taxes, benefits, and compliance with labor laws. This gives you flexibility based on the role and the level of compliance support needed.
